What to Expect from the Summit

Don’t miss this one-day, content-packed summit and networking event that will bring together some of the top minds in construction performance, presented by Group ASI. The AWP Summit directly precedes the start of the COAA Best Practices Conference, and is being hosted in the same venue (Edmonton Convention Centre; formerly Shaw Conference Centre).

With a focus on Alberta, you will learn from local and global best practice implementers on the project owners’ expectations and priorities.  You’ll discover the latest and greatest research, developments and publications driving project performance and productivity from the Construction Owners Association of Alberta and The Construction Industry Institute. You’ll understand the business case for AWP and related initiatives. You’ll gain new perspectives on crucial data concepts related to AWP, including leading-edge topics such as data strings, data standards and digital twins. Through case studies and examples, you’ll learn about proven methods to improve construction productivity for projects of varied size and complexity, and you’ll gain practical knowledge that can be applied to the design and implementation of your project management systems. Your key takeaway from this event is: how can Alberta gain a world-class competitive advantage in an increasingly challenging global marketplace?
